Eric Frazier, AKA O.G. TY: The Contact Man
Born and raised in Harlem, NY (141st Street and Lenox Avenue) Eric “Tyrone” Frazier, known by most as O.G. TY, began throwing parties alongside Greengates, a well-known and respected family-based clique named after the uptown housing projects he hails from. Several years ago, Frazier collaborated with business counterparts Raymond Reid and Billy Council as Final Four Entertainment’s behind the scenes business partner. The role he played bringing in industry notables to FFE events mirrors the position he’s consistently played with Greengates, since they began throwing exclusive parties and events in the Bronx and Manhattan in 1996.
From 1998 to 2003, Frazier was employed at Bad Boy Records where he built countless relationships and developed a strong contact list. His initial day-to-day responsibilities at the label included overseeing artist relations on Bad Boy’s four month world tour. Later, he began working in the Bad Boy offices and studios, overseeing the daily function of the label’s staff and artists.
Also a former resident of East Harlem’s Taft Projects, Frazier developed a relationship with neighbors Red Dot, a talented three man group formerly signed to a production deal with multi-platinum producer Diggs. Upon establishment of Big Cuzin Entertainment, Frazier saw to it that they were one of the first acts signed to the label.
Growing up in the same neighborhood as popular rapper’s Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Mase, the late Big L, and others, Frazier witnessed first-hand the turmoil the entertainment business brings; through his observance of the costly mistakes made by others he realizes the importance of maintaining loyalty amongst his associates.
With Frazier’s Knack for talent, integrity, and over a decade of close-nit industry relationships, Frazier is a very valuable factor to BCE’s vision of global sovereignty.
